Hi, I'm Shai Bardin. I am an 9th grader at Gideon Hausner Day School in Palo Alto, California.
I love traveling around the world and learning about other cultures. When I was in Africa in December 2016, I saw a level of poverty that I had never witnessed before, and it changed me. When we arrived to the Masai village there was a starving stray dog and my little sister gave him the rest of her half eaten granola bar. Seeing the look on the faces of the villagers who didn't have enough food to feed themselves was what first inspired me to problem solve with William to figure out a way for people to help feed the hungry while they are traveling around the world.
I want to get every traveler to take a small chunk of time out of their travels to help feed someone who is hungry.
Hello, I am William Healzer and I am a student at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California.
I am a passionate world traveler and advocate for hunger relief worldwide. When not planning my next adventure, I am an intern in International Security. I believe that world travel is important to the development of an individual for it allows one to develop appreciation and respect for different cultures around the world.
I hope you will join our mission to raise awareness for world hunger. Happy Travels!
